Making contact
I have received a contact request, even though my profile is hidden. Why is that?
Even if you have hidden your profile on a temporary basis, other members may still be able to access it for the following reasons:
- You have visited their profiles with your ‘Visitor list’ function activated. Hiding your profile does not affect your visitor settings. If you do not wish to be visible to other members, simply deactivate your ‘Visitor list’ function.
- The other member marked your profile as a Favourite before you chose to hide it.
- The member has a problem with his/her browser cache. The Internet browser is showing him/her out-of-date web pages which were saved to his/her computer before you hid your profile.
