How can I recognise if a contact is not genuine?
People who are in some way deceitful can, unfortunately, be found everywhere in life. So, when you are dealing with your PARSHIP contact, let your good sense of judgement drive you - it is better to be safe than sorry.
If you get a gut feeling that there is something not right about someone, follow up with them on it. Break off contact if you are not satisfied with the explanation. Even if your feelings are in overdrive, try to assess the situation from a certain distance. If you feel unsure about things, ask a friend for advice.
