If it is a matter of money

Unfortunately the Internet is also home to marriage swindlers, so called scammers. Take care not to invest neither money nor emotion in a something that does not exist.

- If you get asked for money it would be best to delete the contact in question. The other person will no longer be able to reach you -- and please inform PARSHIP's customer service team. If the member has explicitly infringed the terms and conditions, then he/she will be excluded. If you justifiably suspect fraud, then make a report to the police.

- If, even though you have doubts, you still want to give someone a chance, it can be helpful to request a phone call. Please note, though, that crafty swindlers are not so easily unmasked.

- Visit your contact partner and assess the situation for yourself. If you really want to help, settle any costs for doctors or other services directly with that supplier.

- Only get involved on a financial basis when you know each other better. Under no circumstances should you transfer money to people you have never met, even if the phone calls have been very promising and emotional.

- Be mistrustful of any deals you are offered. Don't be impressed by the gain you are promised or by legitimate-looking websites which are supposed to underpin the genuine nature of the offer. Love has nothing to do with money.
