What does PARSHIP do to protect its members from contacts which aren't genuine?
An open attitude to new people is naturally part of online partner search. PARSHIP does everything it can to keep your enjoyment of the process free of worry:
- PARSHIP can only be used by registered members. At the point of registration, in accordance with the general terms and conditions, members undertake not to misuse the service.
- PARSHIP treats all your personal data confidentially. Other members are introduced to you by means of their usercode. It is your decision when and to whom you supply personal data such as your private email address, telephone number or photo.
- PARSHIP checks all profiles for anything that seems out of the ordinary. The customer service team view every photo and all text supplied by members.
- The exacting nature of the service and the fact that it requires a paid subscription also contributes to the extremely rare occurrence of 'rogue elements' on PARSHIP.
- If any problems occur when you are communicating with other members, you can always email our customer services team, who follow up on all leads.
- If there is something about a profile which seems inappropriate or suspicious, please contact us by using the Is there something suspicious about this profile? button at the bottom of each profile page.
Please note: For reasons of data protection PARSHIP cannot actively follow its members' communications. The responsibility for communication and for the personal data supplied lies with each individual.
